Champion Learners Academy was created to help students build strong academic foundations and grow with confidence. We believe every child can succeed when given the right support, tools, and encouragement.

Our approach focuses on meeting students where they are, strengthening essential skills in reading, math, and writing, and creating a positive learning environment where students feel capable and motivated.

Ms. Leake is the founder of Champion Learners Academy and a passionate educator dedicated to helping students build strong skills, confidence, and a genuine love for learning. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Winston-Salem State University and an M.A. in Teaching from High Point University, giving her a deep understanding of how students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Her teaching experience spans multiple age groups, from elementary students to adult learners. She has also worked with individuals that have 504 plans, as well as IEPs. This broad background allows her to meet each learner exactly where they are, whether they need foundational support, skill-building, or enrichment.

What drives her most is seeing students grow—academically and personally. She believes that progress happens when students feel supported, understood, and encouraged to do their best.

Her Philosophy:
“Students thrive when they feel supported and capable. My goal is to create a warm, structured environment where every learner becomes a champion. With the right tools and guidance, every student can master the basics and achieve the extraordinary.”
